I'm thinking about buying a Panasonic LX10...

But my main concern is that this camera is three years old. It's still selling though, with no successor announced yet (LX10 II?). I see it's Wirecutter's top point-and-shoot pick, a Consumer Reports Best Buy pick (given it costs $500 compared to $700 in the past, but I'd guess it's because it's a three-year-old camera)...it seems to me it's my choice right now, although there's no hot shoe or 4K60 support (though is 4K60 really necessary yet?). It has a 1" sensor, smaller than the Micro 4/3 of the LX100 or the G series mirrorless cameras (that are out of my price range).

Given my thoughts, what about yours? Should I consider buying an LX10 before I click the buy button? How does it compare with the LX100 series and/or competitors from, say, Canon, Nikon and Sony?
