Thor's Helmet Ha/OIII

Hi,
here is an image of NGC2359, aka Thor's helmet. It is a combination of Ha (red), O III (blue) and a syntethic green channel (Ha+OIII). The method I followed is Steve Cannistra's.

Integration: Ha 140 min (subs 20min), OIII 140 min (subs 20min).
Newton SPX 12" on G42 Observatory Plus mount.
Atik 383L+ with Astronomik Ha 12nM and OIII filters.

A very nice capture?  I do notice a few off center halos around some of the stars on the right; internal reflections somewhere in the light train??

I believe the halos are generated by the filters, maybe I could try with a different distance filter-sensor?

I got something very similar when I was imaging the HorseHead nebula.  I had a real nasty reflection on Alnitak off an IR/UV filter.  I moved the filter farther out from the camera and the reflection disappeared; only obvious on really bright stars...

Yes. it has excellent optics, and a poor tube, way too thin to avoid flexure and frequent loss of collimation..
