No I did not take any flats, darks etc. to be honest I was mainly concentrating on getting my guiding set up and just taking some trial shots hence the 60sec and then 120sec exposures. Managed to go longer but loosing the object behind a tree.
As you can see I did not bother to much with framing it was a bit of a struggle to get a suitable guide star that evening. I did capture part of NGC3628 but it did not enhance the image so it was cropped.
It was afterwards that I read on the BAA website that I had inadvertently captured the supernova.
The moral is to still follow the proper procedure just in case you capture something worth saving.

P.S.The dust mites are on the CCD so looks like a clean up is due. I am sure these things breed in starlight......
