Failing ATIK 314L+, help please

Dear All,

I just received a new Atik 314L+ but I'm very unhappy. The CCD arived in good condition, perfectly packaged and sealed

After installation of drivers I connected the camera. It was correctly installed and I'm able to control it.

The TEC is working and the temperature is controlled very well.

The issue is:

Using any exposition time, in any condition (dark frames, bias, light frames) and using Artemis, Nebulosity and Astroart the downloaded image has all pixel values equal to 251.

The CCD is driven correctly  by all the listed software but in all cas1051es the pixel values is always 251.

The CCD is an Atik 314L+ Mono
S/N 1051323-0951
Firmware is 3.1 (it seems the latest one)
I'm using Windows XP SP3 32 bit

I'm wondering:

Is a known issue/problem?
There is some advice to help me?
Are there some Atik people reading this forum?

Buying an ATIK camera I was hoping for a better quality check at the production site. OK it's not the top camera but 1400 euro deserve some better quality check.

Now I have to return the CCD back to Germany (I bought it ad Teleskope Service Germany) hoping that they will change it.
