428EX image download incomplete

I have a 2 week old 428EX that has so far been a complete headache. In between the intermittent connection problems I am able to take some images and they are not being downloaded completely. I have installed, uninstalled, reinstalled the atik and ascom software and I have tried AC and DC power supplies and still the inconsistent connection and image problems persist.

Attached is a stretched image from my camera. Does anyone know what would cause this?

Hi I noted on the SGL forums the suggestion was try a different USB cable. Did that fix it?
