Dawn - Debayered image is in color but not after saving

I debayer my images and after combining it shows as a color image. I right click on the combine output folder and save the image but whenever I open it in another program, it is monochrome!

Please help - what am I missing?

To save the debayered version, you have to do it in the actual image area, so right click on the debayered image itself, then select 'save displayed image'. You can choose between .bmp, .jpg and .tif and then you should have a colour image to open elsewhere!
