File download problem with 383L+ and MaxIm DL

Hallo,

with my ATIK 383L+ i have a problem at file download. Sometimes in a session of 30 frames, one frame have a download problem. Download takes a lot of time (normaly 10s) at failure near 60s (BIN 1x1).

I use CCD Firmware version 3.12. Acquisition Software is MaxIm DL V5.21. I have attached two files that show the problem.

Maybe I am not the only one that have this problem. Any ideas? Maybe USB connection problem? I use the original ATIK USB cable, connected to a active USB-Hub. Cable length from USB-Hub to PC 3m.

Hi Christian,

I think the first thing to look into is, as you say, USB connection problems - I'd try a different cable and test it without the hub. By the way, if your camera is running firmware version 3.12 it would be worth updating it by downloading and running the latest firmware installer (available on our downloads page at http://www.atik-cameras.com/support/downloads).
