Driver issues in 64bit?

Set up:
383L+
Win 7 64bit, SP1, all patches updates
ASCOM 6
MaximDL 5.15

I find that when using short exposures (for focusing) very often the software becomes unresponsive for a period of time - way longer than the normal time to download - and then I either get a 'split-screen' or a dump of what looks like the CCD array! It usually happens when moving from one exposure length to another - i.e. stopping and restarting the continuous exposure.

Also, the driver often 'forgets' the temperature, and I get a 0.0 reading...

The camera is attached to a dedicated active USB lead and long exposures appear to be OK.

Anyone else have any similar issues?
