First Deep Sky LRGB - M20 with Atik 414EX
« on: July 02, 2017, 02:21:54 PM »
Hi Everyone,

Here is my first LRGB image of a deep sky object, done as a test of my new Atik 414EX.

Coming from a background in DSLR imaging, I have to say that though the approach is different, the overall effort seems less to generate a quality result. The 414EX seems far more sensitive and noise is not a concern; I love this camera  :)

This was an integration of 250x10 second exposures:
100 light
50 red
50 green
50 blue

Taken through a Celestron C6 at f/6.3.

I'm looking forward to many more imaging sessions with this setup.

David.
