Atik 16200 + Flattener/Focal Reducer

Hello, I plan to use me ES 80ED with the Startfield 0.8 Flattener/focal reducer, Atik 16200 Mono, EFW3, and Atik OAG. I'm trying to figure out what spacers and adapters I will need. Also where in the optical train I should install the OAG. The flattener has a backfocus of 55mm and I opted for the 48mm threads (male... I think). It seems that even when I take off the mounting plate on the 16200 in combination with the filter wheel and OAG I'm at 58.5mm. Does anyone know how I might be able to get this setup? Seems like it will be a problem since the flattener is meant to go in a 2" holder on the other end.

Hello,

Sorry to say you won't be able to use a reducer with a 55mm back focus with the  16200, EFW2 and the OAG . As you mentioned the total back focus works out to 58.5mm. You would need a reducer with a longer back focus I'm sorry to say.
