Is the atik 314l+ compatible with Windows 8?

I have seen a couple of these posts regarding Windows 8 and compatibility. I do not have the answer either but have a Windows 8 laptop (complete with USB 3 ports) on the way and will test the 450C and 460EX cameras for compatibility with Windows 7 drivers and USB 3 ports when I get the chance. I will post the results on this forum when I have them. I am really surprised that no one from Atik has chimed in on the compatibility question yet. Even if the drivers do not work, there is always ASCOM.

Assuming ASCOM works!  EQMOD doesn't...

I have a new Windows 8 Pro laptop and had no problems install Capture for an Atik 838L OSC.

Guys,

I have upgraded my Mountainlion/VMware/Win7 to Win 8 and also did not have any incompatibility warnings concerning my 383L+ nor EFW2. Unfortunately I still did not test the setup; hopefully it will work...

Perhaps the Atik Staff is working on it?

I installed my atik 314L+ on my Samsung Windows 8, very smooth installation no problem at all, at least from one night of use before send my camera to repair for a fall issue.
