Atik platform 4 mechanical specs
« on: January 05, 2012, 09:38:29 AM »
Hello,

I've read the Atik 4 series user's manual (version 1.0), but I am missing some mechanical specifications like e.g. what is the outside diameter of the camera body???

thank you
Pavel

BTW I am not interested in HyperStar but since the camera doesn't have a tripod socket (1/4" 20tpi) I'd need a workaround.

Found on a reseller site, the dimensions seems to be 60 x 121mm.

Kaidan, thank you, could you post a link to that information?

I was hoping someone from ATIK team (Steve/Rui) would shed in. I like to know the 100% correct answer (I have a nice clamp to hold camera body on a tripod if it is exactly 60.00 mm diameter not 60.1mm or so).

Kaidan - when I come to Reunion, I visit you :) but I do not speak French (only some basic words).

Hi,

Sorry, I'm yet to upload the mechanical drawings for the 4 series to the website. I'll do this in the next week or so.

And the dimensions are 60x121mm, yes.
