M17 M16, 80h mosaic
« on: August 02, 2013, 06:46:54 PM »
Hi there,

I finally managed to process all the data of my M16 and M17 mosaic. It was a
challenge to find the right color mix cause emission-wise M16 and M17 are very
different objects.

I capture around 80h of data fully automated with SGP.

The image details are:

-- Camera Atik 460EX
-- Mount Orion Atlas
-- Telescope Epsilon 160
-- Capture with Main Sequence Generator Pro
-- Processed with Pixinsight
-- Ha 120x20m ~ 40h
-- SII 60x20m ~ 20h
-- OIII 60x20m ~ 20h
-- Total exposition time: 80h

Please take a look to the high reslution image here:
