M51 with the new camera
« on: March 19, 2012, 03:51:59 pm »
Hello,
With so many clear nights here I am starting to get behind with posting images.  This was taken a couple of weeks ago with the C11 and the ICX694 prototype camera.

Sharp one with the C11 and the proto!
What about exposure details?

Hi,  Thanks for the comments.  The C 11 has a 0.6 Focal reducer to bring the focal length down to 1750mm.
Cheers

Hi,

that's what I thought, I think that otherwise the image would be a bit darker and also there would have been way more exposure time due to the longer FL; f11 normally for SCT of Celestron..
