Strange 314L+ behavior -- settings in Artemis Capture?

Last month I took a series of spectral images using Artemis Capture. No problem, all images were 16 bit and 2,827KB for lights and calibration frames.

Last night I took a series and the lights were 709 KB. Yet, when I took darks and flats they were the usual 2,827KB. Naturally, I could not reduce as the darks, flats and bias did not match the lights.

I didn't change any parameters. Any idea what happened?
