Bad Sensor?
« on: October 27, 2014, 12:27:16 AM »
I just purchased the 383L+ color camera about 3 weeks ago and I think the sensor is bad.
When I capture images with the camera there are these vertical lines going from the top of the image to the bottom. It is not a software issue for these lines are in every image. I emailed Atik and all I get is a reply with some ticket # and the original message I wrote. Ummmm... are they  going to help me with this or am I going to keep getting this stupid ticket message stating that I use the ticket # in the subject title of the email. I did just that and just get the same reply. I guess im stuck with a bad camera. Not happy at all!

Those are known as "bad column" and does appear in some kodak sensors. It is removable during post processing using proper flats and darks.
