My second attempt at solar imaging :)
« on: May 15, 2012, 09:25:08 am »
Hi all

Had a nice day Sunday so I got the 60 mm Lunt out for the first time since a very brief appearance at Kelling! This is my second attempt at solar imaging so be kind!! Taken with a 314L+. The imaging part is easy with the set up! It's just getting the processing right is the hard bit! Not helped because my PC died so I'm using a laptop! Any processing suggestions would be most welcome :)

Regards
Vince

I don't know anything about processing solar images but that is a pretty awesome shot! Plenty of activity going on there. I do know some people who do
plenty of solar that I think are pretty good. I can put you in contact with them; if you are interested pm me.

Great picture Vince.  Nice to see the 314 doing a bit of solar imaging.  You will have to see if you can find a 450 or 428ex in the office for even more resolution.

I'll keep you to that but I see there isn't a 460 in the offer :D
