Atik 314L+ cooling performance is deteriorating

I have an Atik 314L+ Mono purchased new in November of 2014.

I have noticed over the last 2-3 months that cooling performance seems to be deteriorating significantly.

When new, the camera would cool quite readily to 28°-30° C below ambient.  By April, it was only cooling 23°-25° below ambient.  As I type this post this evening, the cooler is operating at 98% to cool from 19° ambient to 0°.

I have notice no moisture or issues with the sensor, and the camera performs normally in all other regards.

Any suggestions for troubleshooting, repair, or maintenance?

Hi gboulton,

It might be worth emailing support with that one on support@atik-cameras.com. If you copy in what you said here and send them a 300 sec .FIT file with the cooling on, they should be able to figure out what's going on for you.

Unless of course anyone already knows the answer here  - I'm sorry that I don't!
