Every once in awhile I need frustration and venture into a session of planetary imaging. Last night was actually not as bad as usual:
http://tinyurl.com/bwaJupiter2012Oct16I did try pushing the C8 to 4000mm fl with a 2x PowerMate; however, the atmosphere (on the eastern slope of the Canadian Rockies) just wasn't up to the challenge, i.e.: it was barely possible to keep Jupiter in the field-of-view!
