I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this issue.
When I stack my fits with DSS the resulting image is mirrored vertically. The single fits look fine. I have been suggested that the issue might be the location of the 0,0 pixel. Does anyone have any insight on this bizarre beavior? The camera is an Atik 383L+ OSC just bought new a month ago.

The same problem exists with ImagesPlus. Mike at IP claims the data in the header file of ATIK fits files is incorrect. Since the same problem does not exist off two other CCD's I own, I have to believe him!

hm that's really bizarre. So do you just mirror the image in post? What's also interesting is that the single subs look fine and not mirrored.
