NGC 7460 Pisces- Interacting galaxy

A galactic curiosity; two superimposed galaxies only perceived by the deformities of its spiral halos as Steve Gottlieb  of the NCR project interpretation.

Those are the current data for this objectt:

Right Ascension (2000):  23h 01m 42.9s   Declination (2000):  +02º 15' 49"
Object Type:  Galaxy   Object Classification:  Sb/P
Constellation:  Pisces   Position Angle:  175 °
Visual Magnitude:  13.3   Surface Brightness:  13.6
Blue Magnitude:  13.9   Object Size:  1.4'X1.0'
Also Cataloged As:     UGC 12312, MCG+00-58-021, CGCG 379.023, GC 6110, IRAS 22591+0159,
PGC 70287
Catalogue Notes:  Companion superimposed, disturbed.

Picture taken, as usually. 25x12" = 300 " expo. Little work wit Gimp Levels only.

This is an interesting image, do I understand it that there's another galaxy behind the one labelled?

If we have to believe to Steve Gottlieb (NGC Project), yes. There are two galaxies superimposed:
