Atik16200 camera in SGP
« on: May 16, 2019, 02:08:53 pm »
I just got a Atik16200 camera and am trying to get it up and running in SGP.
When I take an image irrespective of the exp time (1s, 0,02s with a lid on scope), I get very light (overexposed) images with a varying ADU of 25000 to 35000.
The histogram spike sits in the middle of the histogram.
When I revert back to an older version of SGP, things are suddenly ok. (for a while)
Upgrade this again to SGP x.x.169 and things are still ok.
Untill the next day.... problems as usual.
In Atik's Artemis it functions ok.
In CCDCiel, which is ascom, it functions ok too. So power and USB connection must be ok.
But SGP is giving problems.
Has anybody this experience? And what is the cure?

Atik Support Answer:
Hello Arie,
Thanks for your enquiry, but sorry to hear that you seem to be experiencing a software issue.
Are you connecting to CCD Ciel using Ascom? If so, it’s very odd that it works in one package but not the other.
Best Regards,

Not much of help from that side............
