Hello hobby enjoyed and profs,

I have been working for a while with infinity, while updating a picture I am missing a logical
order so that I can see during a replay which photos are bad and can remove them. Sometimes the system collects 200 photos to view them piece by piece is quite a chore.

Greetings from Netherlands

Hi,

What exactly is your problem? What is your quality criterion for a good picture?
For example, you can use the free software Max Selector, which sorts your fits according to the different quality characteristics.
You also can use DeepSkyStacker to sort your lights according to quality .

By the way, is pa2jbv your amateur radio call sign ?

Since I own my Atik Infinity mono I can view all the faint stuff mentioned in the books from the comfort of my office. I am observing from my backyard outskirts of Hamburg in a suburban (Bortle 5, MPSAS 19.8) zone. It is fascinating to watch on the monitor how an image of a DSO that is millions of light years away gradually emerges. Most of the time I take 30 light frames of 30 seconds maximum. Before pointing the telescope to another DSO, I save the stack as fits-image for later processing and documentation.
What is your workflow to process stacked b/w images to get most out of it?

Thanks for the comment,

No hassle with all kinds of software, only Atik Infinity.
Photos are updated and every now and then a wrong picture. Nice to know which picture.
Is it possible during writing give the photo a simple number. Like Nebulosity does.
I can't summarize otherwise.
Am indeed hamradio you never come from. Hi
Earlier Germany worked a lot, but never the US  we do it this way.
