Hi all,

Galaxy Group
RA: 12h12m23.9s Dec: +29°10'40" (Coma Berenices)
Integrated Visual Magnitude: 13-14
Angular Diameter: 3.8'
Member galaxies: 4
Light Time: 200 Myr

The Box (Hickson 61) is a very tight grouping of four galaxies in the constellation Coma Berenices that form a near perfect rectangle. Spanning just 3.8' of the sky, they all fit into the same medium-power field of view; particularly striking is how the two most elongated galaxies line up, forming virtually one long streak.

The Atik Infinity mono camera gives me infinite possibilities to make deepsky observations even of faint objects. For my purposes, the Atik Infinity in combination with my old Meade LX 200 UHC 8", the Infinity Software and Startools® is the ideal combination.
I find it exciting to test the limits of my equipment (and my experience).
 See my posting.

Stack of 41 frames with 15 seconds per exposure.
Atik Infinity monochrome camera with Meade LX 200 8" SCT, 15 seconds per exposure @ f/6 , 2x binning.
Image processing with StarTools.
Date 22/03/2020 @ 21:50      MEZ Bortle 8 zone.

Thanks for looking!

cs  Klaus
