I can't use my Atik 16IC-S with Windows 8

I have changed my laptop and now I have Windows 8. I can’t install the drivers of my Atik 16IC-S, I tried many ways but I don`t know what to do.
I followed the instructions of FTDI that are referred in the drivers CD (FTDI Drivers Installation guide for windows , but I can’t install the driver, the machine tells that don’t find the drivers.
What can I do? With my first laptop which runs in Windows xp all its ok, but now with Windows 8…
I tried to open a new post in the forum but I don’t know how.

Hi Luis,

Check out my response to my question about loading the drivers on Windows 7.  It works for Windows 8 as well.

When asking the Device Manager to update the drivers I was pointing it at the wrong directory.

I was pointing to the AtikDrivers/USB1/amd64 directory and was getting the 'cannot find drivers' message.  If you point to the AtikDrivers/USB1 directory it works just fine.
