EFW2 reports Moving when it is not

A recent occurrence. Has worked fine until this. When moving to a new position the devices gets stuck with a status of Moving which never changes. I have verified that the carousel is not moving.

When I power up the carousel spins about 3 times and then stops on position 9.  It seems to me that it never spun that many times before this problem but I never actually paid attention to it.

I have tried adjusting the motor tension but that seems to have no effect. Mechanically everything seems ok.  Just to be sure I cleaned all the alignment holes although I saw no obstruction.

Any help appreciated as I am out of ideas and down until it is solved.
