unscrewing the 2" to M54 adapter from OAG

Hello,

I'm trying to unscrew the 2" to M54 adapter (part #5) from the OAG, but it is very tight. I'm wondering if it is glued to the Main body (part #6). I really can't remember if it was already attached to the main body when I bought the OAG. Any help appreciated.

It should not be glued to the main body (unless you bought it used and the previous owner glued it). You may try using a small
strap wrench which would remove it with no marks.
