M16 - Eagle Nebula
« on: September 24, 2013, 12:29:21 pm »
Just now I have guiding working on my set up. This is my first effort using a guide camera (QHY5-II). Now that things are looking up for getting some decent shots......just my luck that I will have to go away from home for maybe a couple of months work. Looking forward to getting more time in (and some colour data) for this subject .... whenever I get back!
This is 6 x 10 Min subs. (Astronomik L filter).

Revisited the data I had and had some more practice with processing in PI. Here is a link to Flickr:

Thanks for looking. I felt that it was good practice for me to go back to see what I could do with the same data. What I need now for future pictures is more time on the subject.
