Arp263
« on: March 19, 2012, 03:59:10 pm »
Hi,

All these blinding bright Messier objects are good fun to image but from time to time its also fun to go for something a little dimmer.  Attached is Arp263 a well disrupted galaxy.  One again its the prototype ICX694 camera on the C11.
Cheers

Steve,

Really nice result on a challenging objective! Impressive result!
Is there a snapshot of the prototype?

Steve,

it seems quiet similar to the 428, doesn't it?
I it meant to be used like Hyperstar stuff?

Hi,  Yes the camera can be used with Hyperstar.  However the ICX694 is such a good chip its likely to have wide use in all sorts of astronomy over the next years.
Cheers
