Veil nebula with 383l
« on: August 25, 2015, 08:20:06 AM »
This is my second image to take with this camera since I got it. I switched from an old school Orion starshoot pro V2.0 OSC Image taken with the EFW2 and Orion 7nm extra narrowband filter set. The Ha was mapped to R, and Oiii mapped to G&B. Total of 70x300 subs.

How are you finding the switch from OSC to narrowband?

Thanks Jo! It's taking me some time to get the narrowband processing figured out. Similar to the OSC but a bit more tedious just mainly  due to getting a good color balance as natural as possible and not making it look artificial.
