« on: August 03, 2012, 07:10:28 AM »
Hi :
Just got introduced to Astro-photography last summer and got sucked in like i could not believe :)

This is my first try at LRGB CCD imaging using my new ATIK 383+L mono camera, and got to say i am very happy with the results considering that itis my very first image and comparing it to my DSLR images it is way better

Still, got a long way to go, I think my auto guiding quality needs to improve big time also my technique (any tips would be highly appreciated)

Image details :
L : 4 frames 5 minutes each
R : 4 frames 5 minutes each
G : 4 frames 5 minutes each
B : 4 frames 5 minutes each
Auto guiding : Orion Awesome auto guider
Telescope : 8'' Celestron CGEM
Camera : Atik 383+L , and Orion 2" LRGB
imaging software : nebulosity 3
Stacking / processing software : pixinsight
