Will Atik please consider to make an ASCOM driver for the Atik 383L+ camera.

I wonder if the question should rather be:
Will Atik please consider to provide a working ASCOM driver for the Atik 383L+ camera?
I used to use my 383L+ with a self-written piece of software and the provided Atik ASCOM driver. Since I updated to the latest Atik software (including new drivers), ASCOM recognizes the driver and lets me choose 'Atik camera' but then it cannot find the camera when I try to either edit the properties or connect to it...
