M104 on a very still night
« on: May 17, 2017, 02:39:28 PM »
Hello again to all,
Really loving my Atik One 9.0 ..took this 25xLumx2bn @210 sec. (15 dk/30flt) / 3 ea. RGBx3bn @90 sec. (5dk/30flt each color) a couple nights ago on pier mounted 8" Edge @f10 w/Astronomik filters, Starshoot guider, Artemis Capture, AstroArt 6.  Purposely offset target to the side to try and work with star color.  NEED HELP with star color techniques.  Can't seem to get real good star color with SCT/CCD even when I take 5-7 RGB's.  Any/all feedback would be greatly appreciated.  Other than minimal color presence, I thought this was a shot worth sharing.

thx

Nice capture.  I am still struggling with star color too.
