Been waiting a long time for this break in the weather, I managed 2 hours over 2 nights, the Ha on one night and some colour the night after, I need another 4 hours to finish it which should be achievable even by NW UK skies  ;D

This was 12 x 10 mins in Ha
similar amount of Darks and no flats!

Astronomik Ha 1.25 filters mounted in the ATIK USBFW MKI

Am very happy considering the speed of the Megrez 110 f/5.9 ( no reducer used.)

Congratulations Guy, it's sharp and smooth.
With colour you will get an even more beautiful horse! :)

I agree. You do have a very smooth, processed image of the Horses Head nebula.

Wel done Guy  ;)

Which model camera did you use?
Paul.

Guy,

I love this one, it is a good take because the "wall" behind the HH is very good visible!
That's one of my goals when I image this Object!
Beautiful!!

Bravissimo Guy : it's a very good picture and the 383+ work well.

Well done Guy! Now, the horsie is heading the wrong way. :>) Mirror reversed on the horizontal axis. Apparently most software gets it wrong so we need to mindful of orientation as we move between them. I believe only Astroart and PixInsight read FITS correctly. Congrats!
