Soap Bubble 38h integration
« on: August 08, 2013, 05:31:41 PM »
Hi,

This is my render of the Soap Bubble nebula and NGC6888. This is the first
bicolor image that I've managed to put together with nice colors.

I was naive to think that I could pull dome details out of the soap bubble
nebula with very long integration. For my optics/skills the details are out of
my reach. On the other hand, the Crescent oxygen shell was nicely revealed.

I hope you like the image!

You can find it here in higher resolution:

The image details are:

-- OTA Takahashi Epsilon 160
-- Mount Takahashi EM200
-- Camera Atik 460EX
-- Filters, 1.25" Astrodon Narrowband
-- Exposure: 52x20m Ha, 65x20m OIII
-- Captured with Main Sequence Generator
-- Processed with Pixinsight

Thanks for looking!

Cheers,

Jose

That's an impressive work. Which software and autoguiders did you use with the EM-200?

Hi Luiz,

Thanks!

Since I am using SGP, I use PHD for guiding.

Cheers,
