Saving Images for processing

Hi Guys, just wondering what other users do when saving images for further processing?

My question is when saving a stacked image, is it best to save as unprocessed, which I assume is the best option, or save 'AsSeenOnScreen' ?

I always save as tiff, which seems the standard and optimal format for further processing, and currently experimenting with Gimp, Photoshop, although the learning curve is is steep, I hope to be able to great some nice images as I believe there is more quality in the data I can drag out.

I am adding a recent image to this post, so hopefully, further down the line, we can compare the basic image to a processed one!
